From 13 to 27 September, a high-level delegation of United Arab Emirates diplomats participated in the 77th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The delegation was led by H.E. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and included several other senior officials.
The delegation participated in numerous key events and bilateral meetings. The UAE was also pleased to open the doors of its recently completed Permanent Mission building for meetings with visiting ministers, diplomats, and UN officials. On 24 September, H.E. Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, delivered the UAE’s national statement during the General Debate.
